Learning management system (Bb) connects students & faculty. Some classrooms include lecture capability (Echo360) and there are several computers labs on campus offering access to a variety of software.

Blackboard is the course management system at Fisher. Blackboard accounts for faculty and students are created automatically and are only available to faculty and students who are currently enrolled in courses. You can see the online Blackboard Overview.

Lecture Capturing

Lecture capture is an umbrella term describing any technology that allows instructors to record what happens in their classrooms and make it available digitally. The Office of Information Technology Media Center maintains and administers Ensemble.

Ensemble can capture, manage, and publish class lectures or content modules while integrating with existing teaching technologies.


Each lab offers access to a variety of software, including productivity and academic applications, and a variety of hardware, including PCs, black and white printers, and scanners.
The Kearney Academic Computing Lab is available 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week via card-swipe access when the College is open. Lab Assistants are on duty throughout the week to assist users and stock printers.

Video and Web Conferencing Application/Tool

Video and Web conferencing tools, such as Zoom, used for online collaboration, meetings and classrooms.
