Microsoft 365 - Instructions to Download

Currently enrolled students can download and install Microsoft 365 apps on their personal computers. Microsoft 365 is the office productivity suite that includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

 

To download and install Microsoft 365 apps on your personal computer, follow the instructions below: 

  • Launch your web browser and go to: www.office.com
  • From the Welcome to Office window, click Sign in
  • If you are prompted to sign in:
    • Enter your email address: username@sjfc.edu and click Next
    • Enter your SJF account Password and click Sign in
  • From the Microsoft 365 screen, click on the Install Apps drop-down and click Microsoft 365 apps
  • Follow on-screen instructions to complete installation

 

To download and install Microsoft 365 apps on your Fisher iPad, follow the instructions below: 

  • Launch the Self Service app on your iPad
  • Tap the Install button under the Microsoft 365 app you'd like to install
  • Once installation is finished, open one of the Microsoft 365 apps you just installed
  • Click the Sign in link at the top of the window and enter your email address: username@sjfc.edu and click Next
  • Enter your SJF account Password and click Sign in

 

Employees

Full-time Fisher employees assigned a computer may download and install the Microsoft 365 apps on their personal computers by following the instructions above. Employees without an assigned Fisher computer have access to the online versions of the Microsoft 365 apps at www.office.com.
Part-time faculty whose teaching responsibilities require the installed version of the Microsoft 365 apps can contact the OIT Service Desk for assistance at 585-385-8016.
