Email, Storage and Collaboration

SJF provides email access for faculty, staff, and students as well as network storage space on the college network.

Email

Faculty and Staff use Microsoft Outlook to access email and there is a web version (OWA) available for access from off campus. Students use gmail to access email.

Citadel

Citadel is a file server on the SJF network. Faculty, staff, and students have access to Citadel only when they are connected to the Fisher network.

○ Departmental files/folders (faculty & staff)

• There are different types of folders stored on Citadel:
○ Public: Anyone can view
○ Confidential: Permissions from Supervisor/Dept. Chair are required to view

SharePoint

SharePoint is SJF's cloud-based departmental storage location and will be replacing Citadel server-based storage. Employees can access SharePoint from both on and off campus.
