To access email while out of the office, your SJF email can be set up on your mobile device. OIT recommends using the Microsoft Outlook app on mobile devices as it provides a higher level of security than the built-in mail apps. Please select the appropriate link to help configure Outlook on your iOS or Android device.
If you currently use the native Mail app on an Apple Device, you will need to delete the account via Settings > Mail > Accounts.
To check email remotely without setting up your SJF account on a mobile device, Webmail is available at http://my.sjf.edu, or directly at https://outlook.office.com/mail/.
The Office of Information Technology provides limited configuring and troubleshooting support for the use of email clients beyond SJF Webmail.
Troubleshooting Tips:
Microsoft allows a maximum of 10 devices connecting to your Exchange account (Outlook-email). If you exceed the limit you have to delete unused/old devices.
- Log in to my.sjf.edu, and click on LaunchPad > Webmail link.
- Once logged in, click on the Gear icon in the upper-right corner
- Click Options
- In the sidebar, click General, then Mobile devices
- Select any devices no longer used, and then the "Trash Can" icon to remove.
