Setting Up SJF Email in Desktop Applications (macOS & Windows)

This document will walk you through setting up your SJF email on your computer using either the built-in Mail app on macOS or Microsoft Outlook on Windows. Follow the video or written instructions below that correspond accordingly.

Apple Mail

Microsoft Outlook

Mail app (macOS Sequoia 15.7.2)

  1. Open the Mail app.
  2. If you are already using the Mail app for your personal email, click on the Mail option in the menu bar and select Add Account...


     
  3. Select Microsoft Exchange as the mail account provider.


     
  4. Enter your name and email address in the next window and click Sign In


     
  5. A pop-up will appear asking to sign into Exchange using Microsoft, click Sign In and Continue.
  6. Complete the steps to log fully into your SJF account.
  7. Select which options you want to sync from your SJF email account, click Done when you are complete.

Outlook (Windows 11)

  1. Open the Outlook app.
  2. If you are already using the Outlook app for your personal email, click on File -> Account info -> Add account


     
  3. Enter your SJF email address and click Continue.


     
  4. Complete the steps to log fully into your SJF account.
  5. Select No, this app only when asked about signing into all apps and websites with your SJF account.
