Remote Lab Access

If you are connecting from off campus, you must first connect to VPN using Cisco AnyConnect before connecting to a remote lab computer.
 

Students that are required to use lab software to complete coursework have access to remotely connect to a lab computer on campus that has been configured for this purpose.

Required software:

  1. Download and install Cisco AnyConnect VPN software. 
    1. Go to: https://vpn.sjfc.edu
    2. From the Login screen, within the Group section, select Students and enter your network credentials. 
  2. If connecting from a Mac, download and install Microsoft Remote Desktop 10 from the app store. 

Connecting to an SJFC lab computer. 

  1. Log in to Cisco AnyConnect VPN software to securely connect your computer to the SJFC network.

  2. Visit the SJFC Remote Computer Access dashboard: https://remoteaccess.labstats.com/st-john-fisher-college  
  3. Click the Connect button next to the computer you want to use, open the connection file and log in. 

When finished using the lab computer 

  1. Log off lab computer
  2. Disconnect from VPN
