Installing VPN Client on non-SJF Mac Computers

How to install the VPN client (macOS)

1. From a web browser, go to: https://vpn.sjf.edu
2. From the Login window, select the appropriate group
3. Enter your username and password (network credentials) and click on Logon.
4. Click Download for macOS to download the program.
   
5. Locate and open the downloaded program via your web browser, or your Downloads folder, and double-click the Install Package to begin the installation.
   
6. Double-click on the AnyConnect.pkg file to launch the installer.
   
7. Click Continue through the installer and accept the EULA. Click Install to begin installation.
   
   
8. You must have elevated privileges to install Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. When prompted, enter the username and password used to log into your personal Mac. Click Install Software to proceed with installation.
   
   
9. You have successfully installed the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client and can begin using it. Click Finish to exit the Setup Wizard.
   
10. Launch the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client from your Applications list in Finder.
    
11. To establish a secure VPN connection, click Connect.
    
    
     
12. When successfully connected you will see the Connect button switched to Disconnect, a checkmark where the three dots used to be, and text that says Connected to vpn.sjf.edu.
