Turnitin is a web-based plagiarism prevention service, class management tool, and digital grading system for faculty. Submitted papers are compared for matches or similar text in the repository and results are made available in an easy to read Originality Report. This service provides an account on Turnitin.com if an instructor does not wish to use Turnitin via Brightspace.
Faculty
Allows for the automation of plagiarism detection and can be a learning tool for students to understand plagiarism and how to cite sources properly. If using via Brightspace the account will be created automatically.
