Personal Network Storage - P Drive and Google Drive

All Faculty/Staff and Students have access to Google Drive. This allows for unlimited secure data storage, on and off campus. Users can create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. The free cloud storage allows users to store all types, and all sizes, of files on the Google servers.

Additionally, all Faculty/Staff and Students are given 250 MB of network P Drive space accessible only on campus. The P Drive network space is accessed through a computer's File Explorer (or Finder) and is routinely backed up nightly. P Drive is older, legacy storage. Certain lab applications use P Drive as their default save point. Since it is accessible only on campus, it's advisable to use Google Drive for collaboration and off campus access.
