If you have emails in your Gmail that you would like to move to your new Outlook mailbox, you can do so via Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail applications on your computer by following the steps below. Please follow the appropriate section depending on your device.
Apple Mail (macOS Sequoia 15.7.2)
- Open the Mail app.
- Enter in your current SJF email address and select choose from a list.

- Choose Google and select Open Browser to continue.


- Complete the steps to log fully into your SJF account.

- A pop-up will appear confirming what services to sync, Select all and press Continue.

- Once your Gmail is configured and has begun syncing, click on the Mail option in the menu bar and select Add Account... to add your Exchange mailbox.

- Select Microsoft Exchange as the mail account provider.

- Enter your name and email address in the next window and click Sign In.
- A pop-up will appear asking to sign into Exchange using Microsoft, click Sign In and Continue.
- Complete the steps to log fully into your SJF account.
- Select which options you want to sync from your SJF email account, click Done when you are complete.

- Once both mail accounts are configured, you can click and drag the message(s) to your new Outlook inbox.
Outlook (Windows)
- Open the Outlook app.
- Enter your current Gmail address as @students.sjfc.edu (Ex: joe02222@students.sjfc.edu) and click Continue.

- A pop-up will appear asking you to sign in and accept permissions, click Continue.

- Complete the steps to log fully into your SJF account.
- Another pop-up will appear confirming what services to sync, Select all and press Continue.

- Once your Gmail is configured and has begun syncing, go to File -> Account info -> Add account to add your Exchange mailbox.


- Enter your SJF email address and click Continue.
- Complete the steps to log fully into your SJF account.
- Select No, this app only when asked about signing into all apps and websites with your SJF account.

- Once both mail accounts are in Outlook, you can click and drag the message(s) to your new Outlook inbox. You will get a pop-up the first time you move a message and you can select "Don't show me this message again" so it doesn't continue to pop-up.
