Setting Up SJF Email on Mobile Devices (iOS, iPadOS & Outlook App)

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up your SJF email on mobile devices. We recommend using the Microsoft Outlook app, which you can download from your device’s app store, or optionally by using your device’s built-in mail application. Follow the video or written instructions below that correspond accordingly.

1. Download the Microsoft Outlook app via your device's app store.
2. Open the Microsoft Outlook app and click on the Add Account button at the bottom of the screen.
3. Enter in your SJF email address and click Add Account.
   
   
    
4. Complete the steps to log in into your SJF account.
5. When prompted if you want to add another account, select Maybe Later.
   
   

Optionally, if you wish to also add your Gmail account so you can view all of your messages in one location, you can add that account by doing the following:

1. Open the Outlook app.
2. Click on the avatar icon in the upper-left side of the screen. Click on the mail envelope with the + sign and select Add Email Account.
   
   
    
3. Enter your SJF Gmail address as @students.sjfc.edu (Ex: joe02222@students.sjfc.edu) and click Sign In.
   
   
    
4. Click Continue to accept the Microsoft terms.
5. Check Select all to accept which Microsoft apps & services can access your Gmail data. Scroll to the bottom and click Continue.
6. In a few minutes all of your messages between both Exchange and Gmail will be viewable in one unified inbox.

Mail for iOS & iPadOS (as of iOS/iPadOS 26.3)

1. Open the Settings app, select the Apps section, and find and open the Mail app.
2. Click on the Mail Accounts section and then Add Account.
3. Enter your SJF email address and click Next.
   
   
    
4. Select Microsoft Exchange as the provider. Enter in a description of the account if you would like and click Next.
   
   
    
5. A pop-up will appear asking to sign into Exchange using Microsoft, click Sign In and Continue.
6. Complete the steps to log fully into your SJF account.
7. Select which options you want to sync from your SJF email account, click Save when you are done.
