When files are deleted from a SharePoint site, they go into a Recycle Bin. You can only access the Recycle Bin via the web at the URL of the SharePoint site the files were deleted from. The items contained in the Recycle Bin are kept for 93 days from the original deletion date. OIT has no way to restore files that were in SharePoint and are no longer in the Recycle Bin.
Additional things to note are:
- Files can only be restored to their original location, noted in the right most column titled "Original Location"
- You will only see files/folders that you had access to previously.
